Tae Young KIM

Tae young kim was born in Seoul, Republic of Korea (1983.09.23).
He graduated from Kyung-bok High school, Seoul National University -College of Music.
And From 2003 to 2005, he finished military service in Navy Symphonic Band. In 2008, he went to France and studied with Jean Yeav Fourmeau in CRR de Cergy-Pontoise, and also Nicolas Prost and Jerome Laran classes in CRR Saint-Maur and Consevoitre de Aulnay Sous Bois.
Learning from Seong-Hwan Lee, a composer/saxophonist, Tae Young Kim practiced active play performances from a young age as a member of Korea Saxophone Ensemble.
He won 2nd prize in SNU competition, 2nd prize Nante Saxophone competition, and 1st prize in Sungshin Women University competition.
And he built his career by attending many invited plays as a member of ensemble with his teacher Jerome Laran from France.
Also as a member of Korean play group in France named ¡®Cecile¡¯, He performed many plays and recitals for Koreans living in Paris. Currently he is a member of Amigo Ensemble.
He was invited to Singapore Saxophone Symposium (2014, 2015), and working as a faculty in Bangkok Asia Pacific Academy from 2015.
He is a member of Nova Saxophone Ensemble in Korea, performing many plays all around Korea.
He is an adjunct professor in Choong Nam university, and also teaches many students as a lecture in Seoul National University, Korea National Univeristy of Arts, Yonsei University, Gangwon University, SeoKyeong University, Myungji Conservatory, and Seoul Arts High school.
