Robert Spring recalls his first experience with SELMER
Described as "one of this country's most sensitive and talented clarinetists" (Arizona Republic), Robert Spring has enjoyed an intense career as a soloist and teacher for many years. President of the International Clarinet Association (ICA) from 1998 to 2000, he has performed at numerous ICA conventions. He is currently Professor of Clarinet at Arizona State University. He is also a guest professor at the Beijing Central Conservatory of Music.
In this video, he pays tribute to his Privilège clarinet and the SELMER craftspeople: "The workmanship, the craftsmanship, everything about it is just spectacular. It is an artist level clarinet."
