Alicia Camiña Ginés

Alicia Camiña is a professional saxophone player, producer, and composer from Spain based in the USA. 

During her career, she has performed in different festivals in Europe: Italy, Spain, France, Germany, England, etc., America, and Canada. She is currently on tour with The Life and Music of George Michael throughout the United States and Canada, playing in concert halls such as the House of Blues in Houston, Texas, the Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa, California, Pikes Peak in Colorado Spring, etc.  

Alicia Camiña is an avant-garde musician who is changing the concept of the modern saxophone in the 21st century. She recorded saxophones for the new Netflix series, Insiders. She has worked with Rob Lewis (Fifth Harmony, Backstreet Boys, and Christina Aguilera, Fifth Harmony, Backstreet Boys' producer), and she performed with the Madrid Philharmonic Orchestra as a soloist, her composition Espirales and her piece Murmullos was awarded and presented at the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando in Madrid by the Fundación Sax Ensemble and Alicia as a soloist once more.

In 2021 she signed with the Orpheus record company in New York and released her contemporary album Revolution in October of the same year.  

She has been awarded in jazz and classical music for her career in music. In 2021, she was nominated for the XIII Andalusian Awards for the Future. The AIE society for Artists was awarded two times with their AIE High Specialization Scholarship to study at Berklee College of Music and The International Rioja’s University awarded her piece Murmullos for saxophone and ensemble.

Graduated from CSM Manuel Castillo in Seville specializing in saxophone, with a Master's degree from Berklee College of Music in Saxophone Performance and a Master's degree from the International University of La Rioja in Composition and Production with New Technologies.

Alicia Camiña is currently working on her next album with her band that will mix jazz with modern music and improvisation.
