Representing the renewal of the Series III, which has played a defining role in the history of the soprano saxophone since its launch in 1993, the Signature model makes the instrument immediately more accessible to play. It offers a level of relaxation and playing ease never before experienced on a soprano saxophone.
By providing easier access to the soprano’s appealing, round sound, while naturally avoiding excessive tonal edge, it offers exceptionally even intonation and tonal consistency through to the upper and altissimo registers, making these registers particularly easy to produce.
The reliable response of the low register and right-hand notes inspires confidence, allowing for more relaxed playing, while the stability of the upper register remains exceptional, even at the softest dynamics.
Adorned with an original Art Deco engraving that pays tribute to the time-honoured gestures passed down from generation to generation within the Henri SELMER Paris Factory in Mantes-la-Ville, the Signature soprano is probably the finest soprano saxophone designed and manufactured by Henri SELMER Paris since the introduction of its first model in 1922.
