Igor Ivanov
Igor Ivanov studied clarinet at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz with Prof. Stefan Schilling, where he completed his bachelor and master studies.
He also spent one year at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste in Zurich in the class of Prof. Matthias Müller.
He is active in both classical and contemporary repertoire, performing with the Macedonian ensembles Contempora and New Breath Ensemble, as well as playing jazz on saxophone with the MRT Big Band.
In 2014 he started as second clarinet and bass clarinet at the Macedonian Opera and Ballet, today he holds the position of principal clarinet in the orchestra.
