Hannah Shilvock
Originally from Somerset, Hannah Shilvock is an award-winning Brighton-based clarinet and bass clarinet specialist, renowned for showcasing the virtuosity of the bass clarinet. As a Selmer, BG France, RATstands, and DEBUT Classical Horizon Artist, she's celebrated for her pioneering work with the bass clarinet, including her recent arrangements: Debussy’s Cello Sonata for bass clarinet and piano, published by Alea Publishing and Gymnopédie No.1 by Erik Satie.
Hannah has both an undergraduate and masters degree specialising in bass clarinet, having studied with Helen Paskins, Anthony Pike and Paolo De Gaspari.
Hannah’s expertise extends from being an active bass clarinet soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral player to offering versatility as a woodwind doubler, proficient in clarinets (Bb, Eb, bass), flute/piccolo, and various saxophones.
Beyond music, Hannah shares her passion as a yoga teacher, teaching both online and in Brighton.
