Rémi Delangle

Trained at the conservatoires of Boulogne-Billancourt, Cergy-Pontoise, Aubervilliers and Sydney, Rémi Delangle joined the class of Pascal Moraguès and Jean-François Verdier at the CNSMDP, where he obtained his Master's degree in clarinet with first-class honours.
He joined the Orchestre de la Garde Républicaine in 2007, while pursuing his career in parallel as a guest with prestigious orchestras such as the Orchestre de Paris, the Malher Chamber Orchestra, the Orchestre de Nancy, the Orchestre de Bretagne…
He also participated in international competitions, and was a semi-finalist in the ARD competition in Munich and winner of the Societa Umanitaria competition in Milan.
A keen chamber musician, Rémi Delangle regularly performs with renowned artists such as David Gaillard, Anne-Lise Gastaldi, Adam Laloum, Lise Berthaud, Matthew Trusler, Victor Julien Laferrière, the Quatuor Zaïde, Hugues Leclerc and Philippe Berrod, and has been invited to play at major festivals including Les Arcs, Villefavard, Deauville, the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, Nancyphonies and Mens Alors. He is a founding member of the basset-horn trio Les Flamants Noirs and the company Espace Public.
Very involved in contemporary creation, Rémi regularly performs with Ensemble C Barré, Ensemble Intercontemporain, TM+, and La Muse en Circuit.
Alongside his classical training, Rémi developed an early passion for improvised music and oral traditions from the Balkans, as well as Klezmer music. He played in the groups Les Alcolytes, Wistiteats Balkan Kamikaze and the Sirba Octet, as well as many improvised ephemeral projects.
Eager for new experiences and keen to share his love of music with as many people as possible, he is also a cofounder of the Sirba Octet. He is also co-founder and artistic director of the Essertinages rural music festival.
