Created in 1990 by Jean-Louis Delage, and organized by his son Matthieu Delage, the competition of L'Haÿ-les-Roses welcomes musicians from all over the world and of different levels. This year it welcomed 150 candidates divided into 7 categories.
In classical saxophone, the jury was composed of Géraud Etrillard, Jérôme Laran, Rémi Delangle, Gilles Kasic, Karol Beffa, Florence and Philippe Lecocq. The finalists of the competition had the chance to play at the Auditorium with a chamber orchestra under the direction of Swann Van Rechem.
Thank you to all the participants of this 16th edition and congratulations to the winners, with a special thought to Alessandro Malagnino who won a 3.000 € voucher to be used on the Henri Selmer Paris 2022 catalog!
