Stéphane Chausse was born in Menton, in the south of France in 1974. He started playing the clarinet at the age of 7. After brilliant classical studies, he started playing jazz and then learned the saxophone and the flute.
In 2007 he released his first album Rue Longue.
Today he invests his energy mainly in his quartet but also in other formations as a sideman. He also plays EWI in several projects.
He has collaborated with many artists including Natalie Cole, Michel Legrand, Benny Golson, Ray Charles, Marcus Miller, Quincy Jones…
