Jazz at Lincoln Center pays tribute to John Coltrane
The 2021 spring season at Jazz at Lincoln Center will end on a high note on Thursday with a concert devoted entirely to John Coltrane, in particular his legendary album A Love Supreme.

The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra (with Wynton Marsalis), will close the season on Thursday with a performance of John Coltrane's cult album, A Love Supreme, followed by other Coltrane classics on the theme of freedom. Universally acclaimed as a masterpiece on its release in 1965, A Love Supreme marks Coltrane's spiritual turning point.
Saxophonist and vocalist Camille Thurman will join the JLCO as a special guest to enable listeners (re)discover the power of the jazz giant's work. Active with her quartet and the Darrell Green Trio, Camille Thurman has already toured internationally for two seasons with Jazz At Lincoln Center. A multi-award winning musician, composer and vocalist, she has been acclaimed by media outlets ranging from Jazz Times and DownBeat to All About Jazz and the New York Times.
After the live premiere (Thursday, June 10, 7:30 p.m. New York time), the program will be available on demand through June 16 on the Jazz at Lincoln Center website.
