The Selmer Super Balanced Action (SBA) is one of the most legendary and sought-after saxophone models of all time. It was manufactured by Henri SELMER Paris, between 1947 and 1955 (with a total production run of approximately 9,000 tenor saxophones).

This model laid the foundation for the design of the modern saxophone and often rivals its successor, the Mark VI, for the title of the world's best saxophone.

This particular instrument is a silver-plated model featuring a high F# key; it has undergone a thorough yet careful overhaul in our workshop. Although the silver plating has worn off in a few places, the saxophone is in excellent playing condition.

It comes in its original case (which is not suitable for transport).
