On October 15, 2026, Henri SELMER Paris will partner with the Salle Cortot to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of Duo Delangle.
The Delangle Duo's 50th Anniversary at the Salle Cortot
50 years of creation and transmission
Formed in 1976 by saxophonist Claude Delangle and pianist Odile Delangle, the duo has contributed to the development of the contemporary repertoire through a constant taste for discovery and a profound sense of sharing.
This anniversary concert will retrace their exceptional journey, from Bach to Bernstein, from Fernande Decrück to Betsy Jolas, up to a recent work by Alessandro Solbiati written for them. Rémi and Blandine Delangle, Lucie Kayas, an unpublished poem by Yves Leclair, as well as several composers and friends, will accompany this musical evening open to all.
Professor at the CNSM de Paris from 1988 to 2024, Claude Delangle is also a long-time friend of Maison SELMER. Since 1989, he has supported the acoustic development of our saxophones as a consultant, lending his expertise as a performer to the evolution of our instruments.
