Selmer BA Alto Sax n°23108 - Windblowers
Hors Union Européenne : prix hors frais de douane et taxes locales, à la charge du client.
Sale price is £3500 in sterling. Both case and mouthpiece are original. Fully serviced by Windblowers.
A lovely example of this sought after 1936 Selmer Balanced Action Alto Saxophone, fully serviced by Windblowers technicians.
A rare opportunity to acquire a genuine pre‑war Selmer Balanced Action alto - a historically significant model offering distinctive tonal colour, expressive depth, and true collector appeal.
A Selmer Balanced Action is “balanced” because its right‑side bell‑key layout centres the long action rods, giving even key pressure, easier low‑note operation, and far better ergonomics than earlier saxophones. This redesign became the foundation of all modern saxophone keywork. This early‑period alto delivers the rich, resonant tone and superb projection that make vintage Selmers so sought after, with a warm, flexible voice ideal for both jazz and classical players.
Sold by Windblowers, only in the UK.
