Blerim Emërllahu

Prof. Blerim Emerllahu, born on August 11, 1982, in Kosovo, is a clarinetist and pedagogue with
extensive international activity.

 

In 2005, he graduated in clarinet performance from the Academy of Music in Tirana (Albania),
achieving high academic results. He continued his studies in Italy, where in 2008 he completed a
postgraduate specialization in clarinet at the “Bruno Maderna” Conservatory in Forlì/Cesena, under
the mentorship of Prof. Piero Vincenti.


Throughout his artistic career, Prof. Emerllahu has participated in numerous national and
international concerts and collaborations, performing in various European countries, including Italy,
Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom (Edinburgh), Poland, North Macedonia,
Albania, and Kosovo.


He has given masterclasses and concerts at several prestigious international festivals, such as:
– the Clarinet and Saxophone Festival in Gdańsk (Poland),
– the Clarinet Festival in Katowice (Poland),
– the “Beyond Borders” Festival in Bari (Italy), among others.


Prof. Emerllahu is a member of the Wind Orchestra of the Kosovo Security Force, actively
contributing to the country’s institutional and cultural life.


Alongside his artistic activity, he is a full professor of clarinet at UBT – Prishtina, where his
pedagogical engagement has had a significant impact on the education of new generations of
musicians.


He is also the founder and artistic director of the “International Kosova Clarinet Fest,” one of the
most prestigious musical events in Kosovo, featuring performances by internationally renowned
artists.
