Aleksandr Bobeiko
Aleksandr was born in Feodosia, Crimea. He studied at a specialized music school in the city of Lviv. He completed his bachelor’s degree at the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music, in the class of Professor Vladislav Vals. He continued his studies in France, becoming one of the first Russians to study at the Université Paris-Saclay and the Conservatoire de Versailles, where he completed a master’s degree with Vincent David.
After studying in France, he completed his assistantship at the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music. Aleksandr Bobeiko is one of the most prominent Russian saxophonists.
Aleksandr is a laureate of many international and Russian competitions, including the Andorra Sax Fest international competition.
Since 2020, he has been actively engaged in teaching at the V. Stasov Moscow Music School. Starting in 2022, Aleksandr has been working at the preparatory department of the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music( CPES for Bachelor,Master,Doctorate). Since 2025, Aleksandr Bobeiko has also been teaching at the Moscow Regional Basic Music College named after A. Scriabin.
He is a member of the jury of the Glazunov International Saxophone Festival (Moscow), Russian Competition for Performers on Woodwind Instruments (Moscow), Tchaikovsky Legacy international Competition (Kaliningrad) and others.
Aleksandr gives master-classes at creative schools “Territory of arts”(Moscow), “Classics over the Sea” (Sochi), “New Names” (Surgut), “Baltic Dune” (Kaliningrad).
In 2026 Aleksandr was awarded a letter of gratitude from Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation : “For outstanding work in the field of national musical culture”.
He is soloist of the Association of Tchaikovsky competition stars, also consultant at the Vladimir Spivakov Foundation.
Aleksandr performs in concert as a soloist with orchestras : Zaporozhye Philharmonic Orchestra, Onca orchestra , Yugra‑Classik Orchestra, Russian Camerata, Yaroslavl Philharmonic Orchestra ,Virtuosi of Lviv, INSO LVIV, Lviv Symphony Orchestra, Kyiv Symphony Orchestra.
He performed many solo concerts in Russia and China.
