History Notes
Henri SELMER Paris presents a new video series on the history of the company, in collaboration with collector Douglas Pipher.

The story of

Legendary saxophones

Douglas Pipher is a Canadian saxophonist, arranger, composer and collector. His interest in the history of Maison SELMER began in the early 2000s, following the purchase of a legendary saxophone: the Radio Improved.

He then began a formidable research project to catalogue all the instruments produced by the company, spending years photographing and archiving thousands of instruments.

On several occasions, we exceptionally opened the doors of our private archives to give him access to historical documents and enable him to complete his research.

For Henri SELMER Paris and all enthusiasts, Douglas Pipher shares the fruits of his investigations in an extensively documented web-series: History Notes.
