Concerts & presentation


Launched in 2013 by the Andorran Association of Saxophonists, the Andorra Sax Fest has established itself as one of the most ambitious saxophone festivals in Europe. This year it will take place from March 26 to April 3.

Several concerts will be held at the Congress Center of Andorra la Vella and will be broadcast live on YouTube and Facebook:

  • Saturday, March 27 - 8 pm : Adèle Pham-Minh, winner of the youth sax competition 2019
  • Sunday, March 28 - 8 pm : Matthieu Delage and Takahiro Mita
  • Monday, March 29 - 8 pm : Claude Delangle and Odile Delangle
  • Wednesday, March 31 - 9 pm : Soloists and Orchestra

Concerts Andorra Sax Fest

On Tuesday March 30 at 8:00 pm the Andorra Sax Fest will organize an event focused on the new Supreme alto Saxophone. Members of the Henri SELMER Paris team will present the instrument and explain its genesis and development.

Several musicians will testify and play pieces belonging to different musical genres in order to explore the possibilities of this new instrument: Claude Delangle, Baptiste Herbin, Vincent David, Nahikari Oloriz, Raquel Paños, Nicolas Arsenijevic, Nikita Zimin, Mariano Garcia and Antonio Garcia.

Concours & master class


The prestigious saxophone competition of Andorra is open to saxophonists of all nationalities between 18 and 30 years old. The program includes works by Alexander Glazunov, Eugène Bozza, César Franck, a solo piece of the participant's choice, and for the final round: the Concertino Op. 17 by Jeanine Rueff. The jury is composed of Alain Crépin, Claude Delangle, Vincent David, Antonio Garcia, Mariano Garcia, Nacho Gascón, Christophe Grèzes, Philippe Lecocq and Nikita Zimin.

For the youngest, a specific competition is organized and divided into several categories: less than twelve years old, from twelve to fifteen, and from fifteen to eighteen years old. The jury is composed of Christophe Bois, Matthieu Delage, Florence Lecocq, Nahikari Oloriz, Raquel Paños and Nicolas Arsenijevic.
