"Musique Partout", 3 collections for saxophone, flute and clarinet

"Musique partout", 3 recueils pour saxophone, flûte et clarinette
Saxophonist and jazz composer François Ripoche has always been interested in multidisciplinary projects: film-concerts, music and theater, music and video... This year he presents a new educational project inspired by everyday sounds.

Each collection contains 12 pieces that can be played from the third year of practice. They allow to approach technical aspects specific to the three instruments, to work on different modes of playing, but are also intended to be played in public - certain compositions can be played in duet with a student pianist. The originality of these pieces resides in the conception of the soundtrack, entirely created with the sounds of our daily lives.

"Partly due to the lockdown, some of my students had lost some motivation. I wanted to find something fun, rewarding and that could be played alone at home."

Squeaking doors, animal noises, pressure cooker, jigsaw, water drops, bouncing ball... The soundtrack is sometimes used as a metronome, but it also allows to accompany and inspire the students through an original sound universe...

A beautiful project to be published very soon by Billaudot!
