After having studied under the guidance of Juan Clemente and Vincent David, and having been awarded a Master’s Degree from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et Danse de Paris where he was mentored by Claude Delangle, Antonio completed a “third degree” (DAI) in contemporary music and creation with Hae-Sun Kang at the same institution. In parallel, he completed a Master’s Degree in chamber music under David Walter’s guidance with the Yendo Quartet, a group he co-founded. The quartet perform regularly in numerous and diverse concerts and festivals and often featured on Radio France.
Fascinated by creation and contemporary music, Antonio has collaborated with IRCAM in Paris and worked with composers such as Fredy Vallejos, Joan Magrané, José Manuel López-López, Gilbert Amy, César Camarero, Naoki Sakata, José Luis Escrivà and Luis Naón.
He has performed as a soloist in a range of concerts with the Orquesta Nacional Clásica de Andorra, the CNSMDP orchestra, the Zagreb Symphony Orchestra, the Kammart Ensemble, the Croatian RTSO, the Grupo Enigma, Sonido Extremo Ensemble or the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra, among others. Likewise, attracted by orchestral music, he regularly shares the stage with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León, the Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia, the ADDA Simfònica, the Orchestre National de Lyon, as well as the Parisian CNSMDP and OLC orchestras.
During his career, he has performed at outstanding concert halls such as the Philharmonie de Paris, the Seoul Arts Center, the Daejeon Arts Center, the Xi'an Concert Hall, the Jeju Arts Center, the Auditorio Miguel Delibes, the Auditorio de Zaragoza, the Euskalduna Jauregia de Bilbao Concert Hall , the Auditorio Ciudad de León or the Ópera de A Coruña theatre.
He has recorded La follia nuova and Musique Espagnole pour saxophone with french pianist Alexis Gournel, and Utópico with Yendo Quartet.
Currently, Antonio is a professor at the M. Massotti Littel Higher Conservatory of Music in Murcia (Spain).
