Aiming at an acoustic result closer to that of the old models has been the goal of the ‘Reference’. Inclusive of the latest technologies, it is an exemplary combination of tradition and modernity. Its richer, rounder and darker grained sound is without doubt close to the sound of the Fifties.  The ‘Reference 36’ Tenor belongs to the lineage of the ‘Balanced Action’ (1936), whose large bore creates a round and powerful sound. The ‘Reference 54’ Tenor, for its part, was inspired by the ‘Mark VI’ (1954) with a reduced bore and a more centred sound. Their keywork creates a greater feeling of closeness to the instrument. These models are offered in previously unseen finishes: gold lacquered and antique finish.
