1999 : the « Series III » alto saxophone
The development of the Soprano, Alto and Tenor models took place with the collaboration of Claude Delangle, saxophone teacher at the Higher National Conservatory of Music in Paris, and with Patrick Bourgoin, studio musician.
On the Alto and Tenor, the neck has a new bore. On the Alto, a resonance key allows the medium C# to be adjusted, thus correcting the tuning gap between the medium C# and sharp C#, an ever delicate point in the Alto tuning. The “Series III” model is available in various finishes with or without engraving: lacquered, silver-plated, black, brushed, polished matt lacquered, gold-plated. Beyond this variety of finishes, the “Series III” is the only model also available in solid silver (body, bow, bell and neck). The “Series III” Alto is also available in a version with harmonic key.
